Low reserve. I've priced this to sell the subplatter, and the platter is basically thrown in free at the reserve pricing.
Tango Spinner Rega RP6 machined metal subplatter. Comes with nearly full vial of oil and spare bearing. I didn't use the bearing. The subplatter has some surface scratches from cleaning - the mirrored finish is as impossible to keep in mint condition as the soft acrylic Rega use on their dust covers!
Also included is an RP6-style platter. This is a platter I had a local glass company make up for me. PLEASE NOTE: IT IS NOT AN OFFICIAL REGA PLATTER, AND THE FLYWHEEL RING IS NOT PERFECTLY CENTERED!!! PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. It is off by about 1.5 mm. However, it works and spins flat at both 33.3 & 45 RPM. Visually, you can see that ring is off as the platter spins. If that bothers you, don't bid.
Basically, I view this as an upgrade kit to people using a P3 or RP3 who want a taste of the RP6. The RP6-style platter will bring greater bass weight and more stable soundstaging. It is a drop-in replacement, and you will not have to adjust VTA.
