Rarely seen. a true high end, audiophile preamp designed and built for the music lover. Thor Audio TA-2000 Tube Preamp with Internal Tube MC Phono Stage with optional gold accents and outboard power supply. This is a TRUE MKII NOT an upgraded MKI, serial number 1047. In addition to the upgraded MKII electronics a true MK II has the upgraded milled aluminum chassis which is more substantial than the one used on the MKI. This reference preamp is one of the best available. Its sound is very detailed with air, weight and a huge soundstage. I never had any issues with this unit, both the preamp and phono sections are dead quiet. Included is the original remote, manual, and original packing and box.
