The good: everything works and the amplifier sounds absolutely wonderful. The bad: there are some cosmetic issues. The amplifier needs a good cleaning. There is some corrosion on the top plate that may be under the crinkle coat finish. Some of the fasteners are showing corrosion as well. The center transformer has some corrosion on the layered plates. The Cary badges are showing some wear. I have the factory boxes but some of the packing material is missing. Here is a chance to have a highly regarded amplifier for not a ton of cash if you can live with the cosmetic issues. With some cleaning and touch up it would rate much higher. The amplifier has apparently spent the last couple years in a garage in the box. Cary is sending new screws to replace the ones that are showing corrosion which will improve the cosmetic appearance of the amplifier
