For sale is an incredible preamp, Backert Labs Rhumba 1.3.
This is a tube preamp with upgraded golden lion tubes.
The unit is in like new condition with all original accessories.
The sound from this preamp is really inviting with a touch of warmth. It's not slow and muffled nor is it bright and analytical, it strikes a very good balance. The sound stage is very wide open soundstage, very third dimensional. I bought this unit 2 years ago. It changed the sound of my system for the better. This really is a nice preamp.
