I am selling a very well regarded Thorens TD850. It has received the coveted Editors Choice award from The Absolute Sound and glowing reviews in Stereophile and other prestigious audio magazines. It is a very solid table, weighting 46 lbs.  It comes with an external power supply (PS 800) and an outboard AC adapter.  It comes mounted with a Rega sourced tone arm (250) and a Grado Platinum wood body cartridge. The table itself is rated 8/10 (really a 9/10, but I want to play safe). However, the previous owner dropped the AC adapter and the plastic housing cracked.  He taped the adapter and it is in perfect working order. I attached a photo of the adapter for the prospective buyer to see it. I rate the AC adapter at 5/10. This table cannot be shipped, as I do not have the original box and this item weighs approx. 60 lbs. Local pick up in the Philadelphia area or I can deliver it at a reasonable distance. If paying by Paypal, please add the customary 3%. I will consider any reasonable offer, but I am not in a hurry to sell this table.

-The Thorens silent run bearing is made of two sinter bushes with a polished stainless steel axle running inside. The tungsten ball at the end is running on a self-lubricating and absolute maintenance-free bearing point.
-Outboard electronically regulated power supply synthesizes a 60Hz sine wave so the turntable motor is totally independent of power-line fluctuations 
-AC-synchronous motor set into a cutout on the plinth 
-Electronic speed select (33 and 45rpm) 
-Inboard potentiometer allows for precise speed control within +/- 8%
