Technics SP-10 Mk2A (SL-1000P Outfit) Complete Kit w/ Two Arms

Here is a rare variant of the famous and desirable Technics SP-10 turntable: the Mk2A version, complete as a late model SL-1000P kit w/ EPA-500 tonearm and two arm wands. The Mk2A model was introduced after the MkII and MkIII models, and features improved and simplified electronics for better speed control and reliability.

The unit is in excellent condition, and includes the following items:
- SP-10 Mk2A deck
- SH-10EA power supply
- SH-10R wired remote
- SH-10B3 obsidian plinth
- acrylic lid (not pictured)
- Technics EPA-500 titanium nitride professional tonearm w/ TWO armwands, the EPA-501H and EPA-501E

This unit is in excellent condition overall. The SP-10 Mk2A deck looks great and has no scratches or corrosion. The plinth is also in very good condition, showing normal but better-than-average wear for it's age. The power supply is in excellent condition and tests 100%, and the tonearms look like new. I have rated this unit 8/10 for age only.

This unit has a well documented history - it was purchased new and used occasionally at the Southern California KCAL (previously KHJ-TV) television station until about 10 years ago, where it was maintained by an in-house audio engineer, from whom I acquired the unit.
