Upgraded by Joseph Chow in August of 2010, this MR 71 looks great and sounds great. Upgraded 1.5 meter power cord (Audio Horizons Harmony), parts replaced and upgraded, RCA’s replaced with Audio Note silver teflon, rear volume control was removed so it is out of the circuit, total of $650.00 in upgrades. There is a small bit of rust on one side on the black paint which I have tried to show in pics. Not noticeable in a cabinet or rack. Lettering is in very good condition, as I have tried to show in pics. One small blemish on upper right of faceplate behind glass which I have tried to show in a pic. It is about half the diameter of a pencil and not noticeable unless you are close to it. Chrome is in very good condition-no rust. NO cabinet. One of the original feet is missing. I will include the three footers I have been using which are better at absorbing vibration anyway. Tubes are mostly Sylvania and McIntosh. Sold from mid to late 60’s. This is a great tuner. Only selling because I am downsizing and moving.

Just a tip for the future when taking photos...
It's hard to see detail in your pictures, due to the glare from the camera flash in your photos.
Next time do not take the photos straight-on; take them at a slight angle, so that the light reflects away from the camera.
