This auction is for a pair of the “Bad Boy” JAN-CHS 6SN7GT tubes manufactured in
1952 by Sylvania for the United States Navy. They come packed two per box in
their original military boxes so there is no better matching possible. I will pack the tubes in their original box
inside a second box with additional packing materials to provide extra
protection for these rare, highly regarded tubes.
The boxes were opened only to test the tubes on a George
Kaye Small Signal Tube Tester with test results, including gain and voltage, provided. They are closely matched and test just as you
would expect high quality NIB tubes to test. Triode readings on one tube are
23.1 and 23.3 and on the second tube are 23.9 and 24.0.
The classics are becoming hard to find, especially NOS in the
