I have 2 rca 12au7 and 1 12au7a tubes and all 3 have black plates.One tube is very early 50s with the true sideways D getter and the other 2 have square getters.These tubes tested 94-96 84-94 and the very early 50s D getter 94-102 where 56 is the minimal good and new tubes test in the 90 to 92 range on my tv7.Shipping is 5.85 by priority mail.
