My Renaissance 70/70 Mk.III was purchased by me at David Lewis Audio, in Philadelphia August 2002. The AMP was placed in custom built cabinetry and has been VIRTUALLY UNUSED since that time!! I have the original boxes, booklets, and the tubes are original but barely broken in!!! This tube amp is a single chassis dual mono block design with completely separate channels and separate power cords. 10 separate transformers weighing 60 lb. feed sixteen power supplies. All wiring is done by hand.  This is a true push-pull triode amplifier (300B) which is a magical experience. Per Absolute Sound, it does so many things so well ...Each 300B has its own independent self bias network and has a long life, typically more 10,000 hours.
The detail resolution, The absolutely proper sound staging, the micro dynamic nuances, the near-perfect tonal balance and the utterly scary sense of image dimensionality and definition, convey the sense that you've been transported into the original recording space.  This amplifier is simply the most articulate, lifelike, detailed, dimensional, spacious, uncolored, textureless, lifelike amplifier I have ever heard: The Absolute sound
Lastly, it is, in my opinion, magnificent. I am grossly negligent in that I have listened to it so very infrequently, and I am long overdue finding a new home.
