Valve Amplification Company PA-90e Updated by VAC to PHI Front End. GE FAT Boy 6CA7 included

VAC PA-90e Pair Monoblocks updated by VAC 1.5 years ago from 90c to 90e.  This was the full update costing $2000.  Will include matched octet of GE Fat Boy 6CA7 which are stupid expensive at about $600 for eight tubes.  These amps have no hum.

 These are the PA-90’s which were notorious for the black lacquer which was difficult not to scratch and the brass plates.  The brass plates are not in good shape and the black lacquer finish has multiple scratches.  See the pictures.  VAC told me the brass plates can be refinished but I like the look like it is.
VAC told me the update on these gives them the PHI front end, you basically get a PHI amp with EL34 (6CA7) tubes.
I have most of the original boxes but these were moved multiple times over the years so the boxes are not in that great of shape.  I did ship them back and forth to VAC in the original boxes.
These will operate in Triode or Pentode.  They work wonderful and sound great.  I am selling as I needed more power and upgraded to the VAC 160s for my new speakers.
