VAC Renaissance 140 Mk II Just Serviced

This pair of amplifiers was VAC's flagship line of amplifiers and utilizes 8 300B tubes each channel.  To say that they are amazing sounding amplifiers would not do Kevin Hayes, the CEO of VAC, credit.  However, I doubt hearing me gush over my own stereo equipment will help you make a decision.  I encourage you to read reviews.  Important information is that they do 130 watts full class A, were retubed by VAC *tubes individually selected and should last another 9 years*, you can set the feedback from 0 to 6 db feedback, and these have just been serviced to make sure they are in ideal condition by a tech personally recommended by Brent from VAC.  They are in near perfect condition but I have rated at 8 out of 10 because I don’t have the original boxes and I am the second owner.
The tubes alone in this pair are worth over $3,000. Word of caution, they need to be hand selected and not just any 300B will work.  The 6SN7 tubes were also supplied by VAC. I was considering getting a set of Shuguang Treasure CV181-Z tubes to replace the ones by VAC but never found it necessary. They can be run on half the 300B tubes if you have more efficient speakers to run cooler in the summer.
