I bought these in March 2010 from EARSNOVA through Audiogon. I haven't put 500 hours on them as I rotate equipment a lot and my work schedule doesn't let me listen as much as I used to. I have used these on Audio Note, Tannoy, Zingali, Legacy and old Boston Acoustic speakers. Always a good sound.
These come with 8 unnamed KT88 tubes,a matched quad of Gold Lions (used to be a matched octet until I needed tubes for something else and not used for 100 hours), a matched octet of GL that have never been opened, 6 original VAC KT88 (don't know where the others went), 2 extra Jan 6189Ws, 2 RCA 6792s and 4 6SN7GTs - 2 of which I never used. Amp serial numbers - 0736005 and 006.
According to VAC they were built in December 2007.
The Gold Lion matched quad and matched octet tubes are worth $600 on their own.
I enjoyed these amps quite a bit, but it is time for a large home remodeling project. These will ship in the original boxes with another box for the extra tubes.
Shipping, FedEx Ground to the lower 48, and PayPal included.
As always, if you can't afford these, don't waste your time or mine. No trades. I don't see anything wrong with these but I listed them as an 8 for you nit pickers out there.
