Manley Mastering Room Standard Preamplifier

FS: Manley Mastering Room Standard Reference Preamplfier. Completely dual mono construction back to the power cord. This unit was reacquired by Manley Labs from its original owner in LA (a mastering house). It was serviced, re-tubed and according to "Gamma" at Manley resold for $3800 a year an a half ago. I acquired it from the last owner and put less than 100 hrs on it. This design closely mirrors the VTL Ultimate but with higher quality parts and slim chassis layout (see Arthur Salvatore's take on the Ultimate for a glimpse of this preamps potential). The sonics are superb from both the line and phono stage. In my system it can handle LOMC carts below .2mV. The line stage has 20db of gain, and with a low output impedance and SE or BAL outputs it can drive anything. A front panel switch gives you the ability to cut the line stage gain by 5db for optimal gear matching. The MC phono is balanced into a Jensen SUT w/ 10 db of gain. A total of 70db of gain is available from MC input to output. I've included a custom RCA to 5-pin XLR adapter to get you going and an additional ground wire for using the MM input.The original box and manual are included.
