OUCH!!! I am losing $$$$ at this price!
Here I have a Cary SLP-30 preamp that is in excellent condition with new tubes and that has been professionally modded to put this preamp into the stratosphere. This preamp is of the late 90s vintage. IT HAS NO PHONO STAGE; JUST GREAT SOUND!!!!!
The new tubes include one JJ rectifier tube and a matched pair of Electro Harmonix output tubes (12 AU7) Circuitry is direct coupled single ended class A.
-The mods include all power capacitors and supplies by passed with expensive high quality Clarity Caps, Kimber Caps, and AEON Caps, all polypropelyne. The coupling caps are of Clarity Caps ESA professional series by passed with Mundorf Gold caps. SWEET!!!!! The tubes and all mods have been done within the past 7 months.
I fully guarantee this amp to sound fantastic and way ahead of a stock SLP30 and it will be perfectly operative.
Some of you folks just don’t get it so if you are skeptical of hot rodded equipment, this is not for you. I had spent a lot of extra money on the parts and the tech mods of this piece.
