Cary Audio Design SLP-308 Tube Preamplifier w/Jensen Caps

PLEASE NOTE: The lights on the meters are burt out. Cary replaced them about 8 years back, but those burt out too, so I decided to live without the lights (although the meters work fine otherwise).  


I am the first and only owner of this 10 year old Cary SLP 308. It has served me well and I've had no problems with it (other than the lights).

It has factory upgraded Jensen oil caps (note picture of the box) and Radiotechnique tubes, which I bought from Upscale Audio about 7 years ago. For the most part, this pre has rotated in and out of my system, whenever I've wanted to add the magic of tubes (especially lately, using Spotify and Tidal).

I once tried to replace this pre with an Ayre and found the Ayre too polite for my tastes; this pre has that big, American Cary sound. In a word, it rocks. 

I believe the price is pretty fair, since this was made in the US and has the upgrades, but if you feel otherwise, feel free to make an offer.
