| I have lots question to ask about this NOS DAC system and with its Flatfish transport - there is any way I can talk to you in person ? Because I do not want to write 1000 pages of question !
1st simple question: I saw 3 power supply. Why 3 power supply required.I believe 1 for Progression and another for Flatfish ?!
2nd: These are 220V and 3 transformer needed for convert to 110 ?
3rd: How much sound quality different with Flatfish and without Flatfish transport ? I mean I will use my own transport.
4th: AMR DP777 is NOS & HD DAC ( 2 DACs ) and power supply & preamp in same unit. If you know AMR - how NOS sound quality different between AMR DP777 and this Progression DAC ? That's why - I have to talk to you in person regarding these question. Thanks. Hi
The 3 power supplies : 1 is for the Flatfish , one for the Dac and the 3rd was for the amplifier which has been sold. I am selling these for a good friend of mine and he does not know your transport but told me this:
These units are designed to wkrk best with each other. How it would work with another brand, I don't have a clue, much less about the brand he is talking about.
I do however firmly believe their absolute magic is with one another. I never ever had a desire to test otherwise, including even their amp, Gaincard. When I could no longer use it, the whole system needed to go.
Hope that explaines... the magic is for them to work together.
