How do you get a tonearm better than the legendary SME V for less than half the price? You buy this great slightly used toneam!
Near mint SME IV: Discovery wired, damping trough, vert. adj. and top bearing upgrade (basically a V without the spring). This was painstakingly improved by a critical long term vinylphile to out perform the SME V. In his opinion, it sounds better than a V. Near mint low hours. Not even a mark where the arm rests. $2000.00 This comes from the collection of a prominent Hi-End manufacturer and is in near new, superb mechanical and cosmetic condition.
