AudioQuest PT-6 tonearm OBM complete

Audioquest PT-6 dynamic balance tonearm in very good condition for sale. This is an excellent budget tonearm, uses the Linn-type mounting pattern. It beats the RB300 by a good margin in my opinion. Cartridges weighing 4-10g are compatible with the stock counterweight. Original box and packaging, original phono cable included as well. Everything is here except for the optional damping fluid (a good lightweight oil can be used, but I liked the sound with no oil. "Less is more", if you want to try it). Made in Japan. This is basically an OEM version of the Jelco SA250ST. Reason for sale is to trade up to the Jelco SA750D, since my cartridge is a bit too heavy for the Aq. Only issue to note is the end stub has some sag, which is common with these arms and doesn't affect the performance in any way.

These arms were factory installed on many VPI HW19 turntables back in the day. Retail price for the PT-6 was $495 according to Blue Book. Current price of the equivalent Jelco is usually $429 on eBay.
Phono cartridge and red tape are not included.
