I purchased this Basshorn from John K. at KCS Loudspeakers around 3 years ago. It is 84" tall, 40" wide and 22"deep. The basshorn can be used standing up or on its side. I purchased it from KCS to augment the bass in a SET based horn system. It is incredibly well made and engineered. A Radian 15" woofer powers the horn. Included is a Keiga 1000 watt Class D plate amp with low end crossover and level controls (I will include signal cable speaker cable). John from KCS stated that 1000 watts is needed for the proper pressure of the horn. I was told that I would have to spend considerably more to get the same quality. I mounted the Keiga amp in a box made out of 3/4 inch plywood. This basshorn integrated perfectly in my system using the crossover controls on the Keiga. After I made the enclosure, I never thought about replacement. I keep the cutoff at 50hz and the volume at no more than 1/2 way.

This basshorn is capable of producing tremendous bass, this is the same sort of design used in the I-Max theaters. Unlike any subwoofer I have ever listened to, this basshorn pressurizes the room. On big bass drums, you can actually feel the pressure of the drum, just like you are at a concert. The bass is so tight, controlled and natural. There was nothing like listening to a SET amp on horns and having this basshorn to add the attack of a bassdrum, organ or fender bass. There is something about the pressure created by a basshorn that is addicting.

However, I have been forced to move my stereo into a smaller room in my home. This basshorn is not small, and is now too big for the room. I reluctantly have to part with it. If you have any questions about this basshorn, please message me. John at KCS Loudspeakers may be able to answer any questions that I cannot. John is a good guy and a master craftsman. If I had a bigger room, there would be no chance of me parting with his basshorn.

You can ONLY pick this up. I will not ship, please do not ask. This basshorn is too big for me to carry, and I will not risk it getting damaged. I can send more pictures and provide you with as much information as I can if you are interested, but I will not ship.

Thanks for looking. If you live in driving distance from Central Pennsylvania, and you are missing some low end excitement in your stereo or home theater, please consider this listing. The basshorn may be heavy, it may be larger then a black cube, you will have to drive to pick it up, but for the price there is no subwoofer that can compete or pressurize a room with hard hitting, natural bass like a KCS basshorn.

I need to sell this basshorn. If you are interested, please make me an offer, no reasonable offer will be refused.
