For sale is a pair of speaker stands designed and built by John Sollecito of Source Technologies.

The speaker stands are beautifully finished in black oak with high-gloss black on the back, top, and bottom. They are completely filled with 45 lbs of sand, are on 1” spikes, and have rounded edges on the front surface to reduce diffraction. The fit-and-finish is amazing!

When on the 1” spikes, the top of the stand is 29.5” above the floor. These stands work perfectly with the Source Technologies monitors that I have for sale on Audiogon. The Source Technologies monitors compete with the Joseph Audio Pulsars, but cost a fraction of the price!

I can remove the sand if you need to have them shipped. The stands have a MUCH lower resonance frequency than metal stands. When filled with sand, the stands sonically decouple from the speakers.

There is a metal plate that is magnetically held to the top of the stand. When you remove the metal plate, there is a hole in the top so that you can fill the stand with sand and/or lead shot.

The speaker stands are 1.5 years old. The stands are in MINT condition, I cannot see a scratch or dent on them. I rate them a 9/10 on Audiogon’s conservative scale because they are used. The stands currently retail for $500/pr.

I do not have the original box and packaging material, so I will have the stands professionally packed.
