AudioHertz isolated shelf-plate or Isolated Deck System
Rack. (IDSR-TBD)
These are made to order. Each shelf or deck is
isolated and dampened with a preload. Damping is achieved with damping disks and pure silicon o-rings. Different durometer o-rings can be employed to adjust
or tune each shelf or plate but the preload is fixed.
I've made several of these for fellow audiophiles
over the years but never sold in the Audiogon community. I was invited by Joe
Abrams to show at a CAS event trade show and was met with extremely positive,
"get it out there" accolades. Joe Abrams is a long time Audiogon
subscriber, owner Portal Audio and the premiere MIT reseller on Audiogon. I am
graciously endorsed by Joe on Linked-in for the engineering of this product.
I've made speaker stands as well to match the
AudioHertz IDSR, pictured here and for a specific customer. I'd like to start manufacturing the AudioHertz IDSR TBD on a
"short run", basis. I'm entertaining offers to get a feel of the
market value of these units.
These are made from Mic6 tool plate. Mic6
provides a surface of +/-.0005" (20micron). Mic6 is costly and somewhat
heavy for aluminum and anodizes with impeccable uniformity. Hard coat anodize
process provides < = 60Rc surface hardness making a stable and durable
surface protected from gouges and scratching. Mic6 machines extremely well and
tolerances are held tight. AudioHertz racks are mixed alloy part specific.
Nothing mystical going on here, just solid
materials choices with fine finish craftsmanship. Offers are in order. Please
