Purchased when we thought we would listen to an FM radio.  Bought this and a Marantz Tuner.  Finally realized we were NEVER going to listen to the radio.  It also served to enable me to use an Emotiva ERC-2 CD player (I have a Levinson 390S which drives the amp) as a backup.  It has been a year now, and the Levinson is showing no signs of trouble.  Includes foam packaging, inner box and outer box.

So the Preamp is for sale (and I will include the Tuner - a Marantz ST6000 - as a bonus).  It works fine, but is so low in value that it makes no sense to list it.  It has the instructions, no box, and no remote.

The shipping - a flat fee of $80.00 - the includes the preamp and a box for the Tuner - both at UPS Ground.

The second picture shows the Marantz Tuner on top of my backup CD-player (on sale here as well).  The picture is not that great, but the tuner is free.

Questions for the seller
how did you like the sound of the wyred 4 sound? what all comes with the wyred 4 sound?
When I bought it, I wanted something that would not degrade my system in its normal use - after much research, I decided this was the best value for the money. It comes with remote, upgraded power cord (a Pangea, and the original cord), 6' DC Trigger cable (never used), plastic cover, foam packaging, inner box and outer box. I thought it sounded "almost" as good as the Levinson 390S driving the Levinson 333 direct (and that is saying something). But since we were never going to use the Tuner, keeping it in the signal path made no sense - hence this listing. To be absolutely truthful, my listening time with this unit was extremely limited. But the above is what my ears told me. Tom
