This 500 wpc amp has been driving my Magnepan IIIa speakers, but now that they are in the bedroom, the whole thing is just too big.
I tried many amps, and this is a great, powerful, musical amp. I've also used it on Gallo Reference speakers and liked it so much that I snapped up a second. My whole house has been Spectron powered.
Buy both the Maggies and this Spectron and I'll throw in a set of Anti-cable speaker cables and the Anti-interconnects with the funky spiral protective wire.
Note, this is the Musician 1. I've had the predecessor to this, which I believe was called the Digital One (don't bother) and the Musician III. The musician 1 is far superior to the Digital One, and just a tad less than the III. On the other hand, it's less than 1/3 the price of the 3.
The front fascia is great. THere are some white marks on the top right edge of the case, totally hidden in a rack.
Also, the Musician 1 is internally switchable between unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR connections.
Questions for the seller |

need amp to match Rowland 201 for the center channel can this amp be bridged or used for mono
Thanks-jack I went looking for the answer. It's clear that the II and III are bridgeable. I cannot confirm for this one. It would be a wicked 1000w mono amp! |
