For sale is a Proceed AVP-S (S video capable) surround sound processor preamplifier. This item has been tested and is in complete operational condition. Video pass through, OSD display, dot matrix display perfect, processor sensing of Dolby Digital sources operational, and all indictors are working. This has also been reset to the factory defaults. Digital audio processing from Comcast cable box and Apple TV units truly EXCEPTIONAL! I have sold many of these in the last 10 years and I am always impressed with them. I have been listening to this in my main system and find no faults. This is the nicest example I have offered.

Those of you familiar with Proceed and Levinson know Madrigal built some the best equipment available. The AVP series of surround preamplifiers are exceptional performers that offer world-class sound reproduction. They are THE bargain on the used market with performance comparing to units at many times this price point. The analog capability of the preamplifier section in these units is worth the purchase alone. Even if you only consider this piece for two-channel stereo reproduction the audio quality is in a league that far surpasses what these sell for today. Astonishingly similar reproduction to the electronically controlled Levinson preamplifiers from the same era a real gem.

Cosmetic condition is exceptional with no detriment. No dents, no dings, no marks, no scratches. This piece is also physically clean with no dirt or nicotine contamination. Included will be original Proceed small remote handset and the detachable IEC AC power cord.
