The Pass X1 is one of the best preamps ever made. Its price when new was $5,500. Its sound is liquid and spacious, yet very revealing and detailed. One can listen all day with no hint of fatigue. This is the best of tube gear without the maintenance.
The X1 was bought new and used for 6 years fronting a pair of Parasound JC-1 monoblocks. Changes to the system has prompted the sale of the X1 and JC-1s.
The X1 is functionally perfect and has always performed flawlessly. Other than a little wear on its case and a small scratch on its remote control it looks like new.
It is expected that the buyer will pay the 3% PayPal fee.
