Fantastic stereo amplifier made in the USA. 100 wpc into 8 ohms, 150 wpc into 4 ohms. Great Detail, Bass, Mids, Depth and Soundstage. I had a pair of speakers that just didn't seem to have very good bass with my other amplifier. I hooked this up and was blown away. Not only was the bass incredible, the hgihs and mids were fantastic too. 
The amp is in very good shape with a few small scratches on top, but the face is clean.

Power Supply:
Optimal power supply "segmentation" design - each section is perfectly suited to its application.
The output stage is supplied directly from large, unregulated power supply capacitors.
Feedback sections of the circuit are supplied from high voltage, regulated power supply.

The PA-1 uses one large transformer for each channel to drive the high current output stages. Separate transformers are used to minimize magnetic coupling between the channels.

One transformer with dual secondary is used to drive the high voltage dual-mono power supplies.

In all, the PA-1 uses 12 discrete power supplies to optimize performance.

RF filtering is used to minimize the need for AC line conditioners.

Output Stage
A unique stabilization technique is used in the PA-1 to allow direct connection from the output stage to the speakers. This process produces optimal transient performance.
