McIntosh C 28 Stereo solid state pre-amplifier, working perfectly & in good overall physical condition. Fully functional C28 with a few flaws on the wood cabinet.

Received a clean bill of health from a tech with over 30 yrs of experience back in August 2013.
It went into service because of knobs / pot noise which were effectively cleaned and problem cleared. Been running nicely ever since. This is one of the nicest condition C28s that he's ever seen.
His findings: Everything is original except that one of the bridge rectifiers in the power supply had been replaced and a few panel lamps.
My tech also tested the four small value electrolytic capacitors on the main preamp board; they are still checking OK.
Thus overall, this unit is close to factory original.
