THE MCINTOSH C8 IS A CLASSIC PRE/AMP THAT MANY COLLECTORS LOVE TO OWN. THIS IS THE NICEST ONE I'VE SEEN IN YEARS. I HAD MY MCINTOSH EXPERT GO COMPLETELY THROUGH IT, HE STATED THAT IT IS IN SUPERB CONDITION WITH ALL NEW TUBES AND WIRING. HE SAID THE WORK WAS DONE BY A PRO. THE C-8 HAS THE ABILITY TO SET THE PROPER EQUALIZATION FOR ALL 78RPM RECORD LABELS, A FEATURE NOT FOUND IN ANY OTHER PRE/AMP. THE TOP OF THE UNIT HAS A CLEAR CHROME FINISH THAT COULD BE USED AS A MIRROR. I have purchased from Mcintosh. a copy of the original owners manual.
