Very rare McCormack RLD-1 Line Pre Amp with Silver Edition modification offered by Steve McCormack (SMC Audio). The Silver Edition modification brings the already great pre amp to another level that surpasses pre amps at this price point, yet maintain the user friendliness(remote control) and the versatilities of the RLD 1. Of course it is much better looking than the earlier McCormack products.
The RLD 1 sounds very transparent with extreme precise pinpoint soundstage and instrument separation. It matches well with either solid state or tube power amp.
SMC Silver Edition upgrade cost $800 and the amp itself cost about $1700, I am asking $1100 for this gem which is almost 50% off the original price.
