This is Krell's flagship stereo amp. Massively overbuilt with massive amounts of power. The amplifier is not something you want or can, move around as often as you want. It weights a hefty 135lbs and with 400W into 8 ohms and 1600W into 2 ohms, it has the power to drive anything. The earlier 402 was already a very good amp and with the 402e, it continues the strengths of the original 402 but with greater finesse and control. Music was cleaner in presentation and less edgy on the extreme end of the frequency. You can sense the amount of reserve power going on inside as you crank up the volume on your preamp. If you run a good pair of speakers through the Krell, it will peel away at the music and reveal more on the musical notes that you possibly never heard it before.
The amp has one previous owner and is in terrific shape (as you can see from the pictures). We don't have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping. It will be strapped onto a pallet and shipped as freight due to its weight. Manual is available online on Krell's website.
