Classe CAP-2100 Integrated Amplifier Recently Factory Serviced- A True Classic!

A pristine integrated amplifier for true stereophonic listening excellence. Little or no cosmetic issues with the unit. As it relates to its sonic fidelity, What HiFi offered the following description: "Classe CAP-2100 delivers a fast, detailed sound with an exciting amount of insight into the midrange, especially vocalists. The soundstage is large and sharply focused, and tonality is beautifully judged." Originally released in 2004, with a MSRP of $4900, this unit is dated by Classe to have been originally purchased in 2008. This piece of equipment is still a classic- designed for two-channel music systems with a low-level sources, high-powered amplifier components with 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, low-noise toroidal transformers, digital control circuits, three line-level inputs (one upgradeable to a MM/MC phono stage), a tape loop, and a pair of balanced inputs alongside a preamp out.

You will be buying a factory-refurbished unit. Because of a left channel pre-amplification stage issue, the unit was returned to the Classe’ factory in Quebec, Canada for evaluation and repair. I have received word that unit had a minor issue and has been repaired- with a change in one of the boards. The unit is now restored to original factory standards. See enclosed repair estimate, which was completed and satisfied.

The unit was bought two years ago from a single owner audiophile (through Audiogon) but has received little use. (In fact, the unit has sat on a shelf for most of this time in a climate controlled room in a smoke free home.) The item will be shipped directly from Classe’ manufacturing facility in Quebec to your location or may be picked up locally in Quebec at the Classe factory.
