Chord Electronics Ltd. SPM 6000 MONOBLOCK ( NO RESERVE !!! )

Regrettably I am selling my Chord SPM 6000 Mono block amplifiers. Unfortunately, my hectic work schedule is preventing me from enjoying this hobby, so hence the reason to offer them for sale, at this VERY reasonable price for both amplifiers. I would love to keep them, but they are not being appreciated as they deserve to be. My loss is your gain.

The Chord SPM 6000 Mono block amplifier(s) are one of the most melodic and sweet sounding amplifiers ever produced. Needless to say, they are also one of the most cosmetically stunning amps as well.

The Chord SPM 6000 Mono power amplifier was designed with the same no compromise philosophy as the Chord Flagship Reference Amplifier, the model SPM 12000. Similar in styling to the SPM 12000 the SPM 6000 is the largest mono amplifier Chord ever built with performance characteristics that are truly spectacular and undeniably comparable to the SPM 12000, but at a lower price point.

The secret to this level of musical performance and dynamic ability are the unique and exclusive high frequency power supplies. The heart of Chord's amplifier is based on technology directly evolved from the aerospace industry where incredibly high power outputs are demanded from very efficient designs in small spaces. Over twenty years of research and development enabled Chord to develop their 5th generation power supply, which utilizes Spread Spectrum technology, phased clocking and other advanced technologies, not normally found outside of the aerospace industry. The SPM6000 actually uses three of the 5th generation 4kW power supply units that run in a parallel configuration but work individually.
