I have recently gone to an integrated amp, so my Benchmark DAC 1 Pre is no longer needed. This is a professional grade DAC, headphone amp, and preamp. The new model, DAC 2, sells for about $2000. I have also used it as a stunningly good headphone amp (see review on KenRockwell's site). There is a wealth of info available on the Benchmarkmedia site. I am including a pair of Benchmark XLR to RCA cables. It is shipping in a Benchmark box, but for a different model. Note: The volume pot was recently replaced by Benchmark under warranty.

| How long was it before you actually experienced a problem with the volume pot? I bought the DAC 1 about three years ago. The scratchy pot developed just in the last few months and Benchmark replaced it without question (under warranty) just a few weeks ago. |
