The Nibiru v2.5 can be played either with DC (new batteries)
or AC. This phono stage can drive the lowest output cartridges. The sound is
ultra-quiet, expansive soundstage, detailed, and very accurate sounding.
I've had the pleasure of using the Nibiru for the last 6
years. 4 years ago, with the help from Rudy, designer of the Nibiru , we
upgraded some resistors, coupling capacitors and hook-up wires in key
locations. The results were better dynamics, better detail, and more organic
sounding. Please note that only the best
parts were selected for the job. The
original circuit or architecture has NOT been changed.
Upgraded parts include:
V-caps
Jupiter Beeswax paper capacitors
Caddock TFO20R resistors
Texas Component Vishay TX-2575

| Does it has the upgrade of power supply like version 3.0? I though 2.5 runs on battery only? and how you run it by AC power supply? thanks for reply.KB Hello KB,
Thank you for your question. I am not familiar with version 3.0 & Power supply. Version 2.5 is able to operate on DC and AC. The toggle switch on the back of unit allows that option. Please refer to photo in ad.
