K&K Audio Premium Maxxed Out Phono Stage

I am the second owner of this incredible-sounding and versatile phono stage.  I have had it less than a year.  The original owner put 1.5 years of very light use on it. This unit was completely assembled by designer Kevin Carter himself and features Lundahl copper LL1931 SUTs, Lundahl output transformers and large Cardas coupling caps that can’t be sourced anymore.  I am selling only to pay for some necessary house repairs, otherwise I wouldn’t part with it. The unit is basically flawless. It sounds open, detailed with especially good frequency response. I have used a number of top cartridges with it, including Miyajima Kansui, Soundsmith The Voice, Denon 103R, Koetsu Rosewood Platinum Signature and the Ikeda 9TT.  It sounded especially great with these last two.  But it is adjustable for use with any cartridge, with variable gain for the main output as well as the SUTs.

As stated, the unit as designed by Kevin Carter of K&K Audio and is his maxxed out version of the Maxxed Out Premium Phono Stage.  It compares directly to the Art Audio Vinyl Reference (also designed and likely built by Kevin C.) which sells for 2x the amount as this.

I have rated the unit a 9/10 just to be safe, but I see no flaws on it.  It comes with the pair of Russian/Vokshod 6N23Ps (6922) that the designer recommend, but I have an ultra rare and expensive pair of NOS Amperex 7308 White Labels from the Holland factory that I am open to including but only for a pre-negotiated amount – they are NOT included in the asking price.  The unit will ship with a stock IEC power cord, original packaging and original manual.   Buyer to pay all shipping charges and transaction fees.
