I am the original owner of the BAT 6200. It is an amazing amp. The ONLY reason I am selling is that I went to mono blocks for my front channels and felt it unfair to use this just for rear channels. It has always been connected to PS Audio outlets and power conditioning. Again, it has all 6 channels. I have original boxes, manuals. I have a the custom Sound Anchors Amp stand that I am selling as well. Pictures included.
Also on rating, this is really between a 8-9, much closer to 9.

| I am thinking of using this for L, LS, LR, R, RS, RR. Then later upgrade to mono blocks for L,C, R like you.
After upgrading to mono blocks, do you like the mono's a little more, a lot more, not worth the price, would definitely do it again?
How does the sound differ?
Thank you! Hey Milt- So I went with McInTosh on the 601 on the Mono blocks and had temporarily the BAT doing the center and the rears. I am still burning in the meno blocks and getting used to the McIntosh sound. What is crazy is that so far I am not hearing a big difference. My center was holding steady with the mono's. I have since taken out the BAT to sell and replaced with another multichannel and my LR, R, RS, RR and suffering a little. Maybe I am more addicted to the McIntosh Blue lighting than the sound right now. Re sound, i would say my monos are a little warmer. For the BAT, its not too bright, not too warm. It is solid sound with punch and dynamic. No doubt it is the best MULTI-Channel amp available. Feel free to call me with any additional info. 214-557-0097 |
