Sound Quality is excellent - Construction quality is good, with plenty of heat sinks and beefy metal chassis. One of the key things I like about the Acurus is that it tends to run cool, even when rack mounted. I also like the network based setup - essentially, the device has a built-in web server...you point your browser to it to set it up. It's also drop-dead simple to integrate with most home automation systems - a definite plus.

As far as sound quality, I'd say the Acurus is Better than everything else in he $4500 dollar MSRP range and only the most esoteric audiophile amps sound better. It's fast and powerful (200WPC at 8 ohms with a nice solid and open presence and lots of headroom.
