Usher Audio BE-718 DMD w/ stands and rare factory-authorized upgraded GR crossovers

A rare pair of BE-718 DMD loudspeakers for sale. By themselves, this pair wouldn't be exceptionally rare, however they contain the very limited Usher-approved Dan Ritchie (GR Research) upgraded crossovers with top-flight parts.

They sound marvelous. They rival speakers at much higher prices and I have been around the block many times for sure. They are incredibly revealing of the slightest system changes while keeping a very musical and engaging disposition. They have "presence" and they behave like very, very expensive loudspeakers. (They also look the part.)

Their tonal balance is quite neutral and the images have body. The bass is full and extended for this type of cabinet, but not earth-shattering. (I ran the pair with subs for a while and decided it wasn't worth it.)

For the most part, they look like new speakers. I inspected them thoroughly, and I could only find one very small nick that I circled in an attached photo. As you can tell, it's minor and difficult to capture.

The original BE-718s got fantastic press and owner reviews. The DMDs with the upgraded crossover are in a different league entirely.

I have everything that was included in the original purchase. I'll also include the original crossover parts in case you want them.

**** A note on the crossovers. These are not some shady 3rd party upgrade. These were spec'd in alignment with Usher and were reserved for their top-end loudspeakers. This was an *extremely* limited run for the 718 DMD, and I'd be surprised if another pair ever showed up on Audiogon. ****
