Six months old, bought new. I have owned over thirty speakers during my time in this obsessive hobby and have personally auditioned over a hundred other models. These totems are a steal. Very musical, detailed and relatively easy to drive. I use them with an all Naim system in my office system and am struck by how good they are. I listen at very low volume, less than half a watt. They have never been driven hard, or the rest of the office would kill me. I'm selling because I am upgrading to a much more expensive PMC monitor. I would keep these but I have no place to keep them. I did not purchase the optional grill. Cosmetically they are perfect. Prefer local San Francisco Bay Area sale as the boxes were discarded by mistake. These speakers handily beat my previous ProAc one sc, Dynaudio Countour 1.4, sonus Faber and piega.
Questions for the seller |

Hello, I'm very interested in these speakers but have read in some places, contradicted in others, that they have a rather bright top end. What's your feeling about this, and is it possible it only shows up at higher volumes? Thanks and regards, NS I have only played them at low and once at moderate volume and they sound musical and detailed. I do not know if the tweeter changes characteristics at high volume. The quality of the electronics is a huge factor. I used high end Naim electronics with separate power supplies. I wouldn't use them with mid fi components
