Super rare set of active Spendor speakers in perfect working condition with great British sound.
Was using SA300 for stereo and three SA200 as centre and rear for HT driving directly from a modified Oppo player.
They have XLR inputs only (certainly rca cable with adapters would work) with gain setting that allow to precisely adjust to a particular system. HiFi Tuning fuses installed in SA300.
As the original version had an ugly greenish gray color had to refinish these to be more eye friendly in white
therefore conservatively rated 6 however for many they might pass as 8 for condition .
At close distance it's possible to see some refinishing imperfections but from a few feet away they look good -
but for sure Spendors are more for audiophiles who appreciate performance first.
Back in their day about decade ago just SA300s cost $3600USD which in todays prices would be double.
They represent a great value since there is no speaker cable required and no crossovers messing up the sound.
Based on the offer might consider selling SA300 and SA200 separately.
