Merlin Music Systems TSM Black Magic Latest version - Fully Upgraded Like New

This pair of Black Magic Edition Merlin TSM (studio black finish) are FULLY upgraded/rebuilt to latest products spec/version. I have outlined how this was done below:

We had two customers with studio black finished Merlin TSM CC speakers (one 8 years old, the other around 12 - The Merlin TSM-CC is simply a single Merlin TSM made for center channel use with some shielding added). We purchased both center speakers from their owners and brought them (literally - I am a long time consultant/dealer for Merlin, located about 90 miles from them) to Merlin to be matched and upgraded. The folks at Merlin completely tore down both speakers and the following was done: 1) Cabinets where given a sanding and where repainted (this done to ensure both perfectly matched in appearance and ensure they speakers look as new when done); 2) magnetic shielding material inside the enclosures removed; 3) Woofers where re-doped and tested to ensure matching 4) tweeters re-built (new diaphragms) to ensure matching; 5) crossovers completely rebuilt to new Black Magic edition specs (new UpTone caps, new cardas posts, new wiring harness, new resistors) 6) RC networks updated to current specs and new bi-wire jumpers 7) then all assembled and tested. The result here is a fully current Black Magic Edition Merlin TSM speakers made from old cabinets and used drivers, which work, sound., measure just like a new pair $3,000+ Merlin TSMs. The speakers have even been issued new serial numbers and of course are labeled on the back as new Black Magic TSMs are. After the upgrades were finished, Merlin packaged them up just as they would any new pair which is as you see them here. I left them in their factory plastic wrapping for the pictures - so they are in their pristine state as they left Merlin. The come complete with factory Merlin TSM box/packaging (the box is not brand new, but in excellent condition) with all accessories (grills, manual, RCA networks etc) as shown in the pictures. PRICE: $1,650 plus shipping. Price is very fair and firm for what is practically a new pair of speakers which sound the indistinguishable from a new pair.
