THESE SPEAKERS WERE A "ONE-OFF" PROTOTYPE DESIGN BY ALON WOLF, THE FAMOUS DESIGNER OF MAGICO SPEAKERS.
THIS PAIR WAS PICTURED IN THE MAGICO WEBSITE AS "1996 PROTOTYPE", AND WAS A FORERUNNER OF HIS LATER LARGE CABINET DESIGNS THAT WERE PRICED IN THE $90K RANGE
THE SPEAKERS WERE PURCHASED IN 2000 AND THE INTERIOR  WIRING WAS REPLACED WITH CARDAS INTERCONNECT, AND THE CROSSOVER SYSTEM WAS UPGRADED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE IMPROVED SIGNAL RESPONSE THAT WAS GAINED.
THE SELLER HAS BEEN ENJOYING THESE UNRESTRICTED AND OPEN VOICED, HIGHLY TRANSPARENT SPEAKERS FOR 13 YEARS. DUE TO DOWNSIZING RESIDENCE, MUST SELL!
PHYSICALLY IMPOSING AS THEY ARE AT CLOSE TO 600 POUNDS A SIDE, THEY ARE EASY TO MOVE WITH 2 MEN AND A 4 WHEEL FURNITURE DOLLY.
ALTHOUGH MOVED SEVERAL TIMES THEY ARE NOT WORN TO ANY  DEGREE.  FINISHED TO SHOWROOM QUALITY, AND STILL LOOK NEAR NEW.

hi Jeff, i sent you a reply yesterday, but I didn't send it correctly. so here it is. These are not power hungry, they sound strong with my Rogue 110 w integrated right now, I had them for several years with a Bat 75, and before that 200 W monoblocks, I think anything over 60 w a channel would drive these, they never sounded different with the powerful monoblocks, the BAT 75 was equally strong, as is my current Rogue set up.
