Hello, we are Birch Acoustics. We specialize in designing and building filterless fullrange speakers carved from premium birch wood. We believe in presenting the music as a single whole and not dissected and distorted in time and phase over multiple transducers. We strive to build speakers that are natural sounding to the ear; the time and phase correct nature of our designs and the finest natural materials (wood & paper) help us achieve this. The Robin is our finest single driver standmount speaker. It uses only a single cone and a sophisticated enclosure to reproduce the full audible spectrum. Its ability to seamlessly stretch from the low bass to the highest treble is something that must be heard to be believed. Being an ideal point source it is time and phase coherent; giving it remarkable tone and great musical flow. It is very efficient and can energize small to medium rooms with only a few watts. The Robin is truly a state of the art single driver design and is a tremendous joy to listen to.
