This is the classic Marantz DR-17 CD Recorder and Player I'm listing conservatively in Very Good condition (though I think it's in excellent condition, really). Seldom used. I'm the original owner- has nice gold remote + manual. $325.00 + shipping. If Paypal, add 3% to the total shipped price. See photos below, read my feedback. This is an excellent CD recorder and CD player and CD transport. It has a rock-solid heavy duty construction at 17lbs. Even the RCA inputs and outputs are of very high quality construction. Plays regular cds/cd-r's/cdrw's and HDCD's, and also has a volume-adjustable headphone jack. I think it has some of the best Analogue to Digital (A/D) converters ever put to use for recording straight to CD in a consumer grade CD-Recorder. I had very good luck recording selected LP's to CD using it. It can also playback high resolution HDCDs. I think you can record an HDCD from another HDCD player (via coax input) as well, but I never tried that, so I can't confirm that it works. Has Analog RCA inputs/outputs, and S/PDIF input/output and Toslink input/output. Original Owner: Box, Instruction Manual, and Remote Control included. Recording: Has standard RCA jack stereo inputs on the back as well as digital inputs. It uses standard Music media CD-R's to record to that are still available everywhere. Amazon has TDK Music CDRW's, etc. I will throw in 4 used Verbatim DataLife-Plus Music CDRW disks - (some very high grade blank music cdrw media). Example use of this recorder: - I got great sounding recordings of musical events from my TV - or any electronic component that I could get to output either an analogue or digital audio signal through a connecting RCA ended/pair cable or digital cable (toslink or SPDIF). I found the DR-17 to be the best way to record from various sources and easily get the recording over to my PC - you just remove a recorded CD from the Marantz and insert it into your PC's drive and rip the cd, etc. I'm selling because I'm in the market for an SACD recorder. Thanks for looking, Greg
