Native DCI 4K Resolution
With more than four times the resolution of Full HD, 4K offers 8.8 million pixels to help provide a lifelike picture with corner-to-corner clarity, allowing you to sit closer to the screen than you could with a Full HD projector. The native 4K SXRD panels and laser light source help the projector achieve a high dynamic contrast, so that the full color spectrum is replicated with fine detail and realism for a more lifelike experience.

5000 Lumens of Brightness
The 5000 lumens of brightness, powered by the Z-Phosphor laser light source, helps provide high contrast across the screen for vibrant images.

Deep Black Levels with SXRD Panels
The SXRD panels are designed to provide better contrast for rich, inky black levels, clear cinematic motion, and smooth images.

Z-Phosphor Laser Light Source
The Z-Phosphor laser light source is designed to provide bright images for up to 20,000 hours of uninterrupted operation, with no lamp replacement and virtually zero maintenance.

Dual Contrast Control with Advanced Iris
In addition to the dynamically controlled laser light output, an Advanced Iris is also incorporated. They can be adjusted independently and dynamically to optimize light output for dark and bright scenes to help provide deeper black levels and bright, vibrant colors as needed.

ARC-F Lens for Corner-to-Corner Sharpness
The large-aperture All-Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) lens uses an all-glass design for its 18 elements, including six extra-low dispersion (ELD) elements to help ensure optimal convergence of the red, green, and blue primaries, even at the edges of the image to provide a clear and vivid image.

Digital Focus Optimizer
This digital function is designed to compensate for the possible optical degradation of the lens, outputting the optimal corrected image, to help the projector keep your images in focus.

Reality Creation for 4K Content
Sony's Reality Creation technology analyzes images at the pixel level, then uses pattern-matching algorithms to enhance crispness without increasing digital picture noise. It also upscales existing Full HD Blu-ray and DVD movies to near-4K quality.

4K Motionflow
The video processor has Motionflow technology to help provide smooth, clear motion, even for 4K content. Motionflow adds frames to reduce the blur in fast-moving scenes while maintaining brightness. With True Theater mode, the original 24 fps frame rate is retained.

HDR Compatibility
The projector can accept HDR signals from your Blu-ray player or streaming services to provide more realistic, high-contrast images with HDR10- and HLG-compatible content.

Motorized Zoom Lens with Lens Shift
The 2.06x motorized zoom and 80% vertical & 31% horizontal lens shift help simplify the installation process, letting you find the right angle for your movies without creating image distortion or resolution loss.

18 Gb/s HDMI
The projector supports 18 Gb/s over HDMI for smooth expressions of color gradations.

TRILUMINOS Display Technology
TRILUMINOS Display technology helps the projector reproduce more tones and textures, such as crimson reds, aqua blues, and emerald greens to help landscapes and seascapes look more vivid and to more faithfully reproduce skin tones.

HDCP 2.2 Compatibility
Both HDMI inputs support HDCP 2.2, enabling seamless playback of copyright-protected content.

Nine Calibrated Picture Modes
Select from nine calibrated picture modes, including two theater film modes, theater digital, reference, TV, photo, game, bright cinema, and bright TV. The HSV (Hue Saturation Value) color tuning took helps provide even more control.

IMAX Enhanced
IMAX Enhanced certification designates that the projector meets certain video performance criteria set by a committee of IMAX and DTS engineers and A/V technical specialists. These criteria include image, scale, and content quality. Onboard IMAX calibrated modes are set and approved by Hollywood colorists to help provide enhanced picture and sound for HDR UHD content.

Picture Position Memory Stores Your Settings
Store focus, zoom, and lens shift settings for up to five screen formats for easy recall. Picture Position Memories store key settings in the projector, so you can match aspect ratios, including 16:9 and Cinemascope, and lets you switch between them simply.
