This is the Music Matters-Blue Note 45 rpm edition of the great Horace Silver Quartet's 1965 masterpiece, Cape Verdean Blues. Features JJ Johnson along with the group, including at this point Woody Shaw, Joe Henderson, Bob Cranshaw on bass and Roger Humphries on drums. This is a low-numbered edition, numbered 458, and is now long out of print. This has been carefully stored and has not been played or even opened.
