Synergistic Research Alpha Sterling ICs XLR 1M

Great ICs. One of the set of 3 ICs (different makers) for my system when I used XLR balanced. My system has changed now and I no longer need balanced cables. So its time for someone else to enjoy these.

Although they are not the most recent model, I have heard that some find these close to the current near top of the line, which cost way Waaaaay more. The gain with the newer models is, noticeable, but pretty expensive considering how much the new ones go for.

I have rated these as 7/10 due to cosmetics and age, and priced them accordingly. Of course you probably wouldn't see much of them anyway since they are in the back of the system. To be sure you know what they look like, check out the photos. They are functioning fine, and have no cracks, cuts or real damage. There are use scuffs on both the cables and the connectors. I bought them from the original owner about 3 yrs ago, and I don't know how long he had them.

They are functioning as intended and sound very nice. They blended with the other 2 sets that I was using and produced a pretty balanced, neutral sound. At the time time my system had some trouble with bright, etched highs and these helped to tame the problem.

I want to move these, so keep an eye on this ad. I will check back on views every day or so and if appropriate, I will lower the asking price on a frequent basis. So don't miss this opportunity as someone else will have an acceptable price in mind and jump on them when my ad reaches that price.
