These EMIM's have had the diaphragms replaced professionally with Graz diaphragms. The improvement is amazing. I had enough done for two sets of RS1b's but I ended up selling the second set of RS1b's when I found a set of IRS V's. Therefore, these are now available. They have not been installed or used in a system since they were upgraded. They were upgraded by the shop Graz uses for his Apogee repairs and upgrades. The EMIM's sell for $200, the Graz diaphragms for $220, and the labor to refit them was $110 each. The cost for the EMIM's as they are comes to $530 each. You can have them for $375. That is less than the diaphragm and frame alone. Then, if you sell your current EMIM for $200, you will have the Graz upgraded EMIM for $175 which is $45 less than the cost of the Graz diaphragm alone. The upgrade in soundstage is well worth paying full price, let alone this special opportunity. Harman has said that they will never make the diaphragms again. Graz is the only one who has done it and he may not make them anymore because he is so busy with his Apogee work. He made the diaphragm better and will only produce more if the interest becomes worth the effort. The last Infinity diaphragms I saw for sale were $399 from Orange County Speaker. PayPal add 3%. I have 16 of them available for sale. I am keeping the others.
