Former VMPS demo/agent. Selling off extra speakers. Am keeping the RM40s. Now selling the RM30s with most of the upgrades (auricaps, 40 ou. magnet megawoofers, SR-71 sound treatment, cherry cabinets and solid cherry CDWG grills (not the cheap plastic CDWG Brian originally used on the 30s), silver wiring, and the 10" passive radiator on the side which makes the bass performance better in all ways (-3 db at 26 hz. now). Fully tweaked and in good shape. Clarity, dynamics, transparency, and soundstage are ALL remarkable when dialed in as these are. This pair is better sounding than the reviews printed as they did not have the 10" passive). In perfect operating condition. New in 2006. Located in Chicago SW suburbs. Local buyer or pick-up preferred. I do have the 3 shipping boxes though.

HI BOB,
do you have a pair of RM 30"S FOR SALE TO?
if so,how much are you asking for those?
thanks again,
ron Hey Ron,
I have a pair of 30s and a pair of 40s that are both fully loaded with upgrades. I'm just not sure which ones I'm keeping. I really want to keep the 30s because of their size and ease of moving them in the future. I have Sistrum racks and speaker platforms that take about 3 days for a speaker to settle in and sound its best when a speaker is switched on it. Therefore making sound comparisons is not a quick deal. The sound between the 2 speakers is very close. As long as I'm getting balanced amount of bass from the 30s with dynamic impact to be very close to the 40s, I'll probably sell the 40s. I should know within about 4 days.

Hello,
I have Rm30 speakers also, but do not have the latest generation II CWDG's. Would you be willing to sell these separately?
Thanks in advance for your reply. Hi Richard,
You are interested in just the CDWGs. I have the whole set for the 40s, so I have one more mid panel than you need. I bought the whole set for the 40s and have not used them except for the tweeter. The 40s did not have the 3 foam pieces around the tweeter because they were dehorned by Brian. So I used the tweeter CDWG there. I'm not selling that CDWG with the other CDWGs. If your 30s already have the foam around the tweeter, the only difference is a thin rectangular piece of plastic (1" X 3") that is glued to the exact same piece of foam on each side of the tweeter. I don't think it will make a big difference if you have that piece of plastic as long as your speakers have that piece of foam. So the question is, are you still interested in buying the other 3 sets of CDWGs and am I willing to break up the set for the 40s? I might be willing to break up the set. I've never used all of it, just the tweeter part. Brian said it makes a nice difference in the lower mids to upper bass on the 30s. There are no CDWGs available that I know of--as a former VMPS demo/agent. If I sell them, I'd charge the same as they were new--they are unused and in the original small shipping box--$20/set for each driver covered ($120.00 for the 6 mid panels total). If I sell the 40s, I'm not willing to break up the set as I have one buyer that wants them and has offered a full price offer plus enough to cover the CDWGs. Sorry for the length of this reply.
